Location and Directions
Gallagher's Travels Bed and Breakfast is located at 36 Kennedy Highway (also known as Route 1A) in Milbridge, Maine. Milbridge is set at the head of Narraguagus Bay in Washington County, the eastern most county in the United States. Washington County, Maine is reported to be the world's largest producer of wild blueberries.
Shipbuilding was once a major industry in Milbridge. Today this self-sufficient community is a hub for goods and services, lobster fishing, and artists. Bald eagles, peregrine falcons, osprey and seals can often be seen along the banks of the Narraguagus.

Directions to Gallagher's Travels
From Ellsworth:
Follow U.S. Route 1 East into Milbridge. In the center of town, turn
right onto Route 1A (Drop Anchor Realty will be on your right). Cross
the bridge and Gallagher's Travels is the first home on the left.
From Calais or Machias:
Follow U.S. Route 1 to Harrington. At the Irving Gas Station in
Harrington, Route 1 turns right. Instead of turning right continue
straight on Route 1A. Gallagher's Travels is approximately eight miles
ahead Route 1A, or Kennedy Highway as it's named in Milbridge.
